Chaikhana Rohat, a popular tea house in downtown Dushanbe has for years escaped the talons of redevelopment that sought to remove and replace historic buildings with a new image of modern Dushanbe. The interior was the works of outstanding craftsmen and this was a cool place to chat and enjoy simple food and tea on hot summer days.
